About the company

Greenwich & Lewisham Young People’s Theatre (GLYPT) has an established reputation, built over 45 years, as a leading creator of accessible and innovative participatory and performance work for young people.

GLYPT runs an extensive participatory programme including 18 weekly workshops in drama, dance and radio, for ages 2-25. GLYPT also delivers participatory education and outreach projects, and produces professional theatre touring schools and at its venue, The Tramshed in Woolwich.


Progression Producer

We are looking for a dynamic Producer for GLYPT’s nationally recognised Progression programme,  which provides training, projects and performance opportunities for creative young people (age 16-25), alongside development support for young and emerging artists.

This is an exciting time to be joining GLYPT, with the opportunity to shape the next three seasons of Progression programming, and to contribute to the future direction of GLYPT’s artistic strategy and vision.

This role is a fixed term – 1 year post.

Front of House /Usher Volunteers

We are looking for people to assist The Tramshed team to run efficient Front of House services for our shows and events. We are currently looking for a team of enthusiastic people to help us with our 2018/2019 theatre season.

We are looking for people to assist on our Participation Programme. This could be our Youth Theatres in Greenwich and Lewisham, or our supportive programmes: Shout, Reach, and Whatever Makes You Happy.

University/ College Placements and Internships

GLYPT offer University and/or College Placements and Internships throughout the calendar year, and cover a range of roles and experience which may include administration, workshop facilitation/stage management practice, marketing, or assistant directing.

If you are interested in a Work Placement or an Internship, please request an application form at
