To celebrate the restoration of the historic Fellowship Inn in Bellingham South London, Jam Tomorrow is a community play which will transport you back to the era of mods and rockers – and when Bowie lived in Bellingham!
Built in the 1920’s, The Fellowship has played host to musical legends including the likes of Fleetwood Mac and Eric Clapton. In the 1960’s Bellingham local and champion boxer Sir Henry Cooper lived and trained at the pub in the run up to his fight with Muhammad Ali (then Cassius Clay).
Performed by members of the community, this immersive theatrical experience will reveal the true story of the Fellowship Inn.
Produced in partnership with Phoenix Community Housing
Under the ownership of Phoenix, a major Heritage Lottery Fund programme has enabled the renovation of the building into a new arts and performance space, together with a restored pub, due to open to the public shortly.
