So You Want To Be An Actor
Ever dreamt of the bright lights of the stage? Or maybe you just love drama and acting. This course is a good place to start building and developing your skills in improvisation, physicality, voice and much more. Then use your new techniques to work with other young people to create characters and stories to perform.
This course includes a trip to the theatre on Wednesday 6th August (your start and finish times will change on this day).
Patterns To Kill The Catwalk
Everybody dreams of making their own hoodies, T-shirts and whatnot. Ever been compared to Christian Dior, Vivienne Westwood, Karen Millen, Pharrell Williams? Try making that dream bigger! Design clothes and costumes that will turn heads and make people say “Rah! Like where did you get dat top from!”
Shout About Drama
A drama course for young people with Learning Difficulties & Disabilities (LDD).
Course Times: [Monday – Thursday 1.30 – 3.30pm Friday 1.30 – 5.30pm TBC]
Join us every afternoon this week to make theatre and meet new friends. You’ll play drama games, and use improvisation and your ideas to create characters and stories. If you love drama this week is for you.
GLYPT have been running our Shout! Youth Theatre, for young people with LDD, for 8 years. This course is open to our regular Shout members and any other young people with LDD who’d like to join us.
Greenwich: The Academy, Royal Arsenal, Woolwich.
Strictly Come Street Dancing
All you need to take this course is an enthusiastic approach to dance. With professional dance tutors on hand to guide you through new moves and short sequences including popping, locking and formation routines. We’ll inspire you to choreograph your own dances which you’ll then share at the end of the week.
